Day 1.-  Cusco

Reception at Cusco airport and transfer to hotel. Morning free.

City tour to the Imperial city, visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha. Then we will visit the Archaeological Parkand extraordinary ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucca-Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to Hotel. Lodging in Cusco.

 

Day 2.- Cusco - Sacred Valley (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast. Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the town of Pisac where we will visit the typical handicrafts market, a good place to purchase craft work and souvenirs. Then we will continue to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the town and Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, unique in South America. Transfer to train station to take the train to Aguas Calientes. Transfer to hotel. accommodation.

 

Day 3.-  MachuPicchu (Breakfast, lunch)

Breakfast. Departure by bus ride to the lost city of the Incas, “MachuPicchu” for a guided tour through the ruins . You will walk through its squares, temples, terraces, worship centers, royal palaces, Intihuatana or solar clock, and several beautiful natural water fountains carved on rock. Lunch buffet. Return to Ollantaytambo by train and transfer to the hotel in Cusco. Lodging.

 

Day 4.- Cusco - Puno (Breakfast, Lunch )

Breakfast. Output on a trip to the highest navigable lake in the world. On the route will pass through a series of villages, will visit Pucara, Raqchi with its temple to Viracocha, Andahuaylillas famous for its church called the "Sistine Chapel of America." Lunch. Arrival in Puno, accommodation.

 

Day 5.- Puno - Uros & Taquile (Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner)

Breakfast. Excursion to Titicaca Lake (highest navigable lake in the world, 3,800 m.o.s.l.), to the floating Islands of the Uros, made of reed, and the island of the famous handcraft men of Taquile, whose inhabitants still live from agriculture, handicrafts and fishing. Typical lunch. Dinner and lodging in communal houses “taquileñas”.

 

Day 6.- Puno (breakfast)

Amantani - Puno

Typical breakfast. Excursion to Amantani island where there are interesting archeological sites. Return to Puno. Lodging

 

Day 7.- Puno - Juliaca - Lima (breakfast)

Breakfast, On the way to Juliaca we will visit to the archaeological remains at Sillustani, called “chullpas”, built of volcanic stone by the Collas culture, used to bury the most important personalities. Continue to the airport to board your Lima flight.
